About Jimmy
- Jimmy counsels employers on a broad range of employment matters, including workplace policies, employee relations, wage and hour compliance, leave and accommodation issues, investigations, discipline and termination decisions, employment agreements, and regulatory compliance. He works closely with business leaders to identify practical solutions to workforce challenges while minimizing legal and operational risk.
- In the employee benefits arena, Jimmy advises clients on retirement plans, health and welfare plans, fiduciary responsibilities, benefits administration, and compliance with ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, COBRA, HIPAA, and related federal regulations. He regularly assists employers and plan fiduciaries with plan governance, regulatory audits, and complex employee benefits issues.
- Jimmy also possesses substantial experience preparing, reviewing, and litigating Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs) involving private-sector retirement plans, governmental plans, military retirement benefits, and other deferred compensation arrangements.
